These are very obviously WIP pictures of the Interlink Facility in Planetside 2. I found them in the game files. Want proof? Fire up ps2ls and look for Common_Structures_FacilityInterlink_Proxy_Base and Common_Structures_FacilityInterlink_Proxy_Building
Some stats: They are larger than the other 3 facilities, and they have a ridiculous amount of playable space. I would say that the bunker-ish building is about the same size of a counterstrike level, and the dish is much larger. It's Fucking Huge (tm)

Outposts aren't getting deleted but rather moved and or adjusted.
ARC Bioengineering is getting a bridge and a road leading to it, that indestructible turret tower that sits right there is being removed.(stop freaking out you still have 2 more right in front of the warpgate, remember those are to prevent warpgate camping not help you kill people at outposts you are trying to defend)
NS Solar is being moved 2 hexes West.
Hidden Ridge Mining is being moved to the front of the warpgate.

"Here's a short list. I'll add more later.1) Our GMs are going to be doing a lot more broadcasting when they are on servers to make sure people know they are there and dealing with the hackers.
2) We will be implementing and TESTING a "batphone" system for larger outfits to call and report large scale issues. Who's going to have that #? Not a ton of people. It will be people we trust and have gotten it right in the past. We'll expand it if this works.
3) In the very near future (the second I get the final report) we will be announcing banned numbers.
4) We are going to be working on increasing the quality of our reporting system in game and specifically to make sure the right reports float to the top. This is going to take a bit of time but it's being moved up the list immediately (we already had a task for this but we're moving it near the top).

Those are roads, protected by 4 gate shields at each corner that will be triggered by 4 gate shield generators.

With this effort the general rule being used for connectivity is 3-4 connections per territory. By comparison, PS1's lattice had 2-3 connections per major facility, and the current PS2 system has about 5-6 connections per territory. So it's a little more open than the PS1 lattice, but significantly reduced from the current PS2 system.
For folks concerned about small squad action...history shows us that you shouldn't be all that worried. PS1's system was more restricted and small squad action thrived. Part of the reason is that predictability works both ways; if you can reliably predict where the zergs are you can also use that information to avoid them. I think it will actually help the small squads find each other so you get those small squad fights more consistently. As someone who ran a small PS1 leetfit for many years, I'm confident that this will make small squad gameplay better.
Again, all prototype and it's a work-in-progress, nothing is set in stone, so keep the feedback coming!”

il nerf è solo vs infantry ricordatelo, secondo me è abbastanza legit, alla fine basterà essere più skillati coi carri armati e i pug tank driver verranno massacrati come è giusto che sia, il revamp delle risorse arriva a giugno, se dio vuole lo rifanno come ps1, l'idea è quella ancora dalla beta e dai vari tweet.
+ fight di infantry = fight più lunghi = more fun

I just realized I was following one of several thread on this. Sorry about not updating ... I'll copy my reply here:
Just wanted to say that we are still aware of this, and there are things we're doing to address it. The visual effect (multiple loading screens) is the end-result of a chain of events, so the code that causes it would not be in one place unfortunately, and it is both distance and timing related. This is something that we will definitely include in the patch notes.

In this case we would be allowing the mines to be killed without detonating. Shooting them with smallarms fire would also kill them without detonation, essentially to allow anyone to disarm the mine that some butthole just kamikaze dropped on your sundy without HAVING to be an engineer, as well as making it more than just "Drop them then detonate them"

considerando che oramai tutte le categorie di armi hanno una NS tranne fucili e SMG è probabile. Fucili NS non penso abbiano molto senso ora come ora...

imho sarà semiautomatica range di effiacia max 30 metri, super silenziosa e dal danno esorbitante, visto lo spazio che ha per il rail non monterà certo 6/7/8/10/12 x di scope, ma sarà più da ingaggi silenziosi e letali, probabilmente instagibba in testa

Per me è più da range intermedio fra il fucile e la smg, può aver senso con un mirino tipo 4-6x. Son curioso di vedere che attachments ci mettono. Le frecce a punta soffice non ce le vedo :p

uno dei motivi per cui ho smesso è che di patch in patch il client è diventato sempre più pesante...ormai i combattimenti li vedo a 3fps, mentre all'inizio era fluido a prescindere...
posso immaginare che stiano perdendo giocatori perchè il client sembra in java da quanto pesa :v

francamente la vedo dura che possano migliorare l'uso della CPU di molto... riscrivere un engine per passare da single thread a multithread rischia solo di fare caos e danni. Ma c'è un MA...
Questo gioco uscirà anche per PS4 entro la fine dell'anno, che ha un'APU che grosso modo corrisponde ad un quad core intel per quanto riuarda le prestazioni x86 (l'APU Jaguar ha 8 core, ma alla fine si comporta come i processori FX AMD e i vari moduli da due core ciascuno hanno le risorse in comune, quindi di fatto è un quad core). Penso che la Sony ci tenga che i suoi giochi girino bene sulla sua console, quindi prevedo un bel po' di lavoro da quel punto di vista. Resto dubbioso comunque, prevedo grossi casini all'orizzonte...
