In-Game Support

What will happen to my existing characters?
Your existing characters will be exactly as they were on the European servers.
They will have the same stats, equipment, etc., be in the same guilds and at the same locations as you left them prior to this changeover.
This includes all characters, both on active and inactive accounts.
Can I create new characters on my transferred account?
Yes! If you have room on the server for new characters, absolutely!
Will my friends list remain the same?
Yes! Your Friends list will remain intact
Who should I contact if I have problems during the transfer?
You will be able to contact our Customer Support department (as instructed below), however at certain points during the handover we will be unable to assist you immediately.

Will Mythic offer customer support in multiple languages?
Customer Support will be available 24/7 and appeals may be filed in English, German or French.
To ensure the best possible response time for everyone, we ask you to please appeal in English if you are comfortable discussing the issue you're having in this language.
How do I contact customer support?
Customer Support Representatives (CSRs) field in-game appeals from players. To file an appeal about an issue, please open the Help UI within the game, and choose CSR Appeal. Then, find the category which most fits the issue you're having, give as much information as possible, and submit your appeal.
To dispute a Name Change which was performed by a CSR, please email <names@warhammeronline.com> with a full description of why you feel the name change should be reversed. Please note: A character's name is only changed when a CSR deems that it breaks our naming rules. We do not offer name changes by request.
To dispute any violation placed on your account other than a Name Change, please email <dispute@warhammeronline.com> with a full description of why you feel the warning on your account should be reviewed/altered/removed. Please note: The turnaround time on a response from Dispute is (72) hours, usually less.
What hours will Customer Support be available?
CSRs are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year!
Billing and Technical Support

Will I be able to use the same game install that I have been using up until now?
Yes! Your existing patcher client will automatically update to the new Mythic version, allowing you to play on the new servers hassle-free.
How do I get the game client if I can't find my install disks?
Mythic will host the clients to download as soon as they are available. Please check back on the Herald (http://www.warhammeronline.com) for updates regarding this.
What if I misplaced/forgot my account information?
You will be able to recover your account information if you have access to the email address you originally used to create the account.
Will I be able to resubscribe immediately if I am a returning player?
Yes! EU Players will be immediately active in the Mythic Account Center (https://accounts.eamythic.com/).
Who do I contact for tech support/billing support?
There are a few different contact points for Billing and Technical Support. Please note that Billing and Technical Support will be available only in English.

Will all of my account information be the same?
A majority of your account information will be the same. You will however need to update your e-mail address and secret word at the time of transition.
Your actual account name you will use when logging into the game and the account center will be your existing account name with the suffix "_EUR"; for example <ACCOUNT NAME>_EUR.
Will I have to resupply my billing information?
No, however payment methods will be changing slightly and you may be required to purchase and enter time codes off our Electronic Art Europe store (http://eastore.ea.com/).
We are actively exploring additional payment methods, and will keep you informed as more options become available.
Will there be a new account center?
All EU players will use the Mythic Account Center (https://accounts.eamythic.com/).
Am I able to make a new account?
Absolutely!
How will I manage my account?

How will I purchase game time?
Players will be able to purchase game time for WAR through the EA Europe Store. Game time codes will be available in increments of 30, 90 and 180 days. (http://eastore.ea.com/).
How much will my subscription cost per month?
The cost of your subscription will be 12.99 € per month, with multiple month discounts.

Will I be able to transfer to North American servers immediately?
We do have plans to allow European customers to transfer to and from our North American servers. However, this option will not be available at the time of launch.
Will characters from North American servers be able to transfer to Non-English servers? Vice Versa?
We have yet to finalize a decision on this subject, but at this time we're considering the possibilities of transfers to the new multilingual servers.
Will there be a support website?
Yes! Please check out <http://help.warhammeronline.com>. In addition, most of your needs can be taken care of with an email to <support@warhammeronline.com>.
Will I be eligible for new trials or reenlistment?
Yes! EU players will be eligible for all reenlistment promotions that North American players currently receive.

Will localized servers be offered?
Yes! We will be supporting servers in German and French.
Will the WAR Herald be translated into multiple languages?
We will be offering Herald Posts and Patch notes in English, French and German..
When is the change from GOA to Mythic expected to take place?
The Transition is taking place during June 29th to July 7th.
Will I have access to the North American Public Test Server (Warpstone)?

What language will the Public Test Server be supported in?
Similar to the GOA Public Test server, the North American Public Test server is limited to English.
Where will I find game news?
All current Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning related news will be found on the Warhammer Herald (http://www.warhammeronline.com/).
How can I submit feedback?
You can submit feedback via the "Submit Feedback" tool on the Warhammer Herald (http://herald.warhammeronline.com/feedback/index.php) or by using the in game feedback tool.
What language will the patch notes be published in?
The Official patch notes will be published in English, French and German.
What languages will be supported on the Official Forums?
All forums aside from server specific (FR/DE) forums will have English only support. We will offer volunteer moderation on language specific server forums. All EU WAR Players will have full access to the Official Mythic Entertainment WAR Forums once the transition has completed. (http://forums.warhammeronline.com/)
Development

Will I need to download a new game client to connect to the Mythic Servers?
No! Players will be automatically redirected to the Mythic servers upon logging into the WAR Patcher.

How will my in-game and out of game experience change with Mythic?
European players will see the same game patches and services that all other regions see, as well as be able to participate in community Q&A, developer feedback threads, and PTSs to make their voices heard! All feedback, CS interaction, and bug reporting will be centralized and optimized.
During what hours will server maintenance be performed?
Deployments are centralized around our weekly (Tuesday) updates. These deployments normally begin at 8:00 AM EST/2:00 PM CET, ending no later than 12:00 PM EST/6:00 PM CET.
Will I have to transfer my characters to a different server?
No. To the players, the transition will be seamless with your characters being on the same server as they previously were with GOA.
Will my personal and guild vaults transfer over?
Yes! Your personal and guild vaults will contain everything they did before the transfer.
Will there be downtime during this transition?
Yes, but in will be minimal. On Tuesday, June 29th 2010 Mythic will be taking a data stamp of all European Character and Guild information from GOA. There will be a few hours down time during this. There will be a few days between this and the opening of the European Mythic servers. When the European Mythic servers are brought online there will also be a few hours down time.
